EVGA GeForce GTX 275 into old PC01 Aug 2009 00:39 GMT2
I'm wondering if an EVGA GeForce GTX 275 video card would work in a 6
year old PC?  The old motherboard has PCI 2.3 slots at 33MHz according
to the manual (Gigabyte K8NNXP.)  Also one AGP 3.0 8x slot at 533MHz.
I'm wanting to convert the system into a HTPC, so I just need a better

Does GeForce 8300 support CUDA?30 Jul 2009 10:30 GMT4

8600GT or MB issue28 Jul 2009 16:51 GMT2
The last few days my system has trouble booting. The graphics card
information displays and then it hangs. It always hangs (or can take
as much as 20 secs) right before seeing the BIOS info. After a couple
of Ctrl+Alt+Del, the BIOS displays and it boots. A normal boot is
32bit OS, new dual cards etc25 Jul 2009 13:00 GMT4
Ok I guess this might be a daft question, but I've been wondering.
With 32bit OSes and the 4GB limit on addressable memory, how does that work
with these new fancy dual-gpu cards that can have almost 2GB of gfx ram on
them. To the extreme, quad sli using those where they themself ...

past the windows XP start-up screen with the scrolling blue bar near
the lower center.  So, stupidly, I restarted again and went into the

video format conversion09 Jul 2009 02:15 GMT7
First, is it possible to convert 4-pin S-video to either component or
7-pin S-video?[1]  I see adapters from 7-pin S-video to component all over
the place, and I have several.  Extra power bricks are not a problem.
It should cost less than a VGA -> component converter else there's ...
Videocard and PSU advice?08 Jul 2009 12:48 GMT7
I'm thinking of buying a new card for my Acer Aspire desktop. Looking
around a bit it seems that a GTX260 would be a good card for my budget.
I've found 2 XFX cards for the same money (175 Euro, I'm in The
Netherlands) which seem to be almost the same, according to the
