I currently use a 9800GX2 but was wondering if the new GTX295 will be much
better overall to be worth the expense.
Here is a list of my current hardware.

I've been using a BFG nvidia 680i SLI motherboard with BFG 7600GT

shutting down in hibernation mode so tried it yesterday. Today when
booted up, the system couldn't find my hard drive. After several tries

Hope someone can help. I just installed a 9800gtx+ with a 550w PS with
28amps on the 12v connectors (both power connectors are used)
The primary monitor (dual monitor setup) will go blank but the
secondary still shows the desktop.

I have a hdtv tuner card (wintv 1600) but it somewhat choppy
picture.   The manual states it could be my on board video card that
is causing the problem.   They recommend getting the latest video card
drivers, but I can't find that info on the nvida website.   I have

nvidia Driver Download Portal is SCREWED23 Jan 2009 23:56 GMT8
In Internet Explorer, you can't even get the other dropdowns to
populate when you select the product type.  Nice!  They don't bother
to test their portal in the browser with more than 80% marketshare,
nor do they give you an easy way to e-mail portal support.

Steroscopic drivers ... <sigh>19 Jan 2009 10:45 GMT6
I am frustrated with my endless tries to make a stereoscopic view work.
I used to have those shutter glasses (Revelator) and they worked ok with
WinXP.
My problems started after I upgraded to a system with Vista 32. These
6800GT's, are they all the same?11 Jan 2009 12:56 GMT11
Hey all.
I've got a bad 6800GT in a Sega House of the Dead 4 arcade game CPU.
Sega wants over $1000.00 for the replacement. You can imagine where I
told them to go when I heard that price!
nVidia Quadro FX 3400 and 3450 (for gaming?)09 Jan 2009 23:10 GMT24
I have recently acquired a workstation with SCSI drives and would like
to run FSX (flightsim) on the machine. It's getting pretty good frame
rates with the default FireGL V3100 but when I enable anti aliasing the
framerates drop to below 10 fps.

Could someone please recommend a card that's no less than 256 and does not
have a fan on it.

DualView is pissing me off05 Jan 2009 17:52 GMT4

allow each monitor to use its own setting for resolution and refresh
rate. Resolution works as advertised but refresh rate only works
sometimes. Half the time the CRT comes up during boot as 60hz when I set
