my gf just bought an 8600gt (bfg) for 100 bucks. i have two questions so i
can get an idea of how this card performs.
how does this compare to an old 9700pro?
how does this compare to a 1950pro?

Hi i just bought a winfast 7900gtx card for my system i wondering what

i just got a couple of new components -one of them a BFG 8600 GT
Thermointelligence videocard and this thing got me wondering. It seems as if
there are no extra Power connectors on the card to connect it to the PSU.
Can this be true? Does it really get all it's power via the PCIe ...

I am think of getting 2 x 8800 ultra's in SLI...What PSU wattage is needed.
Will also run with a quad processor, so will 1010Wattage be enough for my

I'm curious, does anybody know what kind of game performance graphics rating
an eVGA AGP 6800GT card would get in Vista?

widescreen plasma display? Fanless preferred. Performance is not an issue as

I had twice a page fault in non paged area Blue Screen of Death
message in the last week and found that this can be linked to bad
drivers. I looked on the Nvidia homepage and found through their test
that for my Nvidia GeForce MX420 Videocard driver shows version 0.0

I'm considering adding a second 8800GTX graphics adapter to my system
and running them in SLI mode. I understand the main benefit of such a
configuration would be for games, but I don't play games on my system,

Will the Nvidia Quadro cards (eg FX1500) allow me to have an extended
desktop on two DVI monitors AND provide a HD component video output at the

has anyone been able to setup the above video card with a pair for use
of SLI on a HP xw6400, this supports SLI but when i have both cards in
the PC it wont boot up as it beeps... the PC isn't getting past POST.
