i need to buy low$ graphics card for agp4x and 800MHz. I want to create small files
with cad plus minor 3d rendering (no motion video, tho maybe slides...) For student,
intern, entry-level type portfolio.

I just bought a 7600 GS. Upgraded from an ATI 6550. Mostly to get the
Shader 3.0 support. New games seem to require that lately. Anyways, so
far I have 3 Games that freeze up after about 10 min. WOW, Gothic 3,
POTBS beta. In all three cases, I can still hear the music and mouse

I'm in the market for a new PC (mostly intended for gaming purposes), and
I've narrowed down my choice for the video-card down to two options, both
from Gigabyte (although with the NVidia reference designs around, the
brand doesn't matter too much I suppose?):

I just ordered a new Nvidia video card for my P4. Could someone tell
me how much power I should get for this computer?

Hi all.  My girlfriend's ATI card just crapped out on her, and I'm trying to
narrow down a good replacement for it.  She had an X1800 pro 256MB PCI-e
that she was happy with, and wants something that is equal or greater to
that.  She's a recreational gamer, into Rainbow Six Vegas ...

Just read that my Radeon 9600 supports Shader Model 2.0 how can i test this
and do i need to switch the facility on in my video settings.

I have a Gainward Golden Sample GeForce 6800GT graphic cards where one of
teh fans is dead. Now I get frequent system crashes due to the graphic card
overheating. Can someone please suggest a good replacement cooling solution
for this card that is quiet but still can handle the heat ...

Can i use 8800gts card for gaming on Athlon 64 3000+, 2gb ram?
Or i need to upgrade Cpu first?

I am starting to build a new pc, with one or two 8800 ultras, as these are
directx 10 cards. Will i only be able to get directx 10 effects under
Windows Vista.

The dreaded error, that makes all the promises of high end computing ...

I've got one of the last Sony desktops that are really almost dead quiet and
am currently running an XFX 7600gs w/256 just for regular desk top use.  No
gaming.  Does anyone know of a faster card without a fan ?   TIA.

Have a Medion Geforce 3 Ti200 graphical adapter (64MB).
Want to know if it  supports resolution at  1680*1050 ?

I have a Geforce 7300 GS and am trying to use the S-video out
facility.
I have connected to TV and all  seems fine until I play something with
RealPlayer or Windows Media Player and then the actual video output

I have my 50" lcd screen hooked up as a monitor. Hooked up using S-video
cable
I see everything on the tv monitor that is on the computer screen
