So this was a second one, which I received as RMA for the first one, This card Failed on me while in windows. Bad luck I guess. Save yourselves the head ache and hassle. Do Not Buy Any XFX Brand card or otherwise...

My system is a Ti-4200 8xAGP, 71.84 drivers, Win98SE. Any attempt to add to the registry the coolbits entry, causes the drivers to switch to 240Hz refresh rate. It does not seem to matter what the value of coolbits is set for, 0,3,7,-1.

both have 128 bits. but ive heard the 5700le can be overclocked considerably i cant afford any card higher price than these two, but the 5500 is about 15 pounds cheaper.

Since getting my PNY 6600GT AGP card, It completely crashes winxp to a soft reboot every 15 to 20 minutes, while playing either Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, or Call of Duty: United Offensive. Upon Reboot, XP informs me that a hardware device driver caused the crash.
