| Corrupted vertical mouse cursors once in a while... | 20 Apr 2009 15:38 GMT | 4 |
Ever since I got my MSI R4870-T2D512 OC Radeon HD 4870 512 MB video card (starting with Catalyst driver v8.12 and using v9.2 today [haven't tried v9.3 yet]) and other major computer hardware upgrades in the end of December 2008, I noticed once in a while and rarely randomly, my ...

| ASUS EAH4870X2 | 20 Apr 2009 09:26 GMT | 1 |
I replaced my faulty X2 with the above card, and what a card! Quieter, cooler, more stable. It takes up two and a bit slots, but I put it in the bottom PCIe slot on my maximus formula board. One happy customer here, and the ASUS driver did not give that INF file not found error.

| Problems with X850 and possible best AGP cards | 15 Apr 2009 22:05 GMT | 12 |
After a recent LAN party my son's PC has been running like a dog. The current ATI X850 PE only puts out about 9 fps in TF2. It was running fine before so not sure what happened. One "funny" issue is that even after I reinstall it after full driver

| DDR3 vs GDDR3 | 09 Apr 2009 04:25 GMT | 1 |
Have there been any benchmarks to compare identical cards, with one being built on DDR3 and the other GDDR3? I'd like to know how much of a performance difference exists. When a manufacturer takes a GDDR3 reference spec and takes it down to regular DDR3, is that just smart ...

| Switching to ATI card for FSX? | 09 Apr 2009 01:24 GMT | 1 |
I had a 128 MB ATI FireGL card in the Dell 610 and ran FSX Gold Acceleration Pack without problems (except for the board's inability to handle gaming) and recently switched to an nVIDIA 9800 GT, but having a LOT of Fatal Error problems. Searching around with google, many

| ATI reference specs | 08 Apr 2009 00:28 GMT | 1 |
Why doesn't ATI post reference specs on their website? They only have laundry lists of functional features but don't give information like clock frequencies. nvidia has this info for their cards. It's just annoying having to check third-party reviews for this info, who knows if ...

| GeForce 9800 Gt or GTX+Superclocked | 05 Apr 2009 19:50 GMT | 2 |
Was just wondering if anyone could give me their opinion between thes graphics cards. I am trying to decide if the GTX+ is worth the extr loot or not. Iff I decide to just stick with the regular 9800 Gt should I choose evga or bfg? They both give different features

| ASUS A8N-SLI and newer ATI card compatability | 03 Apr 2009 18:39 GMT | 6 |
I have a 3 yr old Asus board(939) running with an AMD 64 X2 4800. The video card is an X1900XT. Starting to see failures due to heat or just plain old can't keep up graphically. I'm sure this is a silly question to some but can I replace my card with any of the newer ATI ...

| HD4870X2 woes | 01 Apr 2009 15:02 GMT | 5 |
recently I have been getting lots of BSOD in Vista 64. When I reboot, I have graphic corruption on the BIOS boot screen, and two thick vertical bands running down the monitor. The last occurred when I tried to run World In Conflict. Other times the PC runs fine. I suspect ...
