still runing Catylyst 8.6 that came with my card i want to update but cant.
i doine all the steptsd but still fales the Dtection driver.  below is my

12/27/2008, I have ran into two annoying Windows XP Pro. SP3's blue

scheduler) up my DVB Viewer Pro v4.0 program (a DTV program).

I decided to replace my video card cooler yesterday, because the stock
fan on the ASUS was too loud under load.
I baselined the temps of the core and memory, both at idle and under
load (Furmark).

I have a 9000 series ATI all in wonder, that I have lost the original
install CD. Without it I can not get the DVD decoder to install, AND by
using the "updated" drivers off the site it works, but it's sound is real
screwy, have to change it at different times just to get sound ...

is there any hope that ATI/AMD will release drivers for old cards, such as
my old ATI AGP 9800 pro, drivers that can allow these old cards(even if
they don't have avivo) to use their GPU power to help the CPU for high
definition h264 mpeg4 avc videos ?
