I'm running a Radeon 9600XT with the 7.5 drivers on a 2700+ Socket A with
WinXP SP2.   I don't  play any games or watch movies (except occasional
movie trailer or Youtube video).  Any benefit to upgrading to a more recent
driver?

Trying to figure out if my card becomes obsolete next Februrary.

I bought a "Sapphire HD3870x2" video card.
It seems to work fine, but some times (expecially when playing a game) some
purple lines, red and green points appears on the screen.
Like noise.

I am looking for a ATI 3870 video card but it needs to be silent that is no fan.
Can anyone help suggest one?
