Considering crossfire for Crysis30 Nov 2007 17:50 GMT1
I've never implemented any SLI or Crossfire setup before, but I'm
considering making the move in order to play Crysis at reasonable
framerates.  I've got an X1950Pro, and crossfire mobo, so I'm wondering how
much more playable Crysis would be with 2 of these cards vs. 1.  Any
LCD HDTV the same as LCD monitor?30 Nov 2007 00:01 GMT2
I recently bought an LG 47" 47LBX LCD HDTV (absolutely stunning) and want to
hook it up with a Radeon X1950XT graphic card in my PC. The ATI control
panel offers several options for HDTV (e.g., 1080p). Do they matter? Can I
just treat my LG LCD TV as an LCD PC monitor?
Miserable drivers29 Nov 2007 06:27 GMT14
Tried installing Catalyst 7.11 and D3D died.  Same for 7.10 and 7.9.
7.8 works.
Good to see that being taken over by AMD hasn't changed anything at
ATI.

ulti, I can't get any sound no matter what I tried.
I have installed/un-installed drivers for the last five days and I am about
to give up.
MMC 9.16 question26 Nov 2007 03:54 GMT1
I reinstalled my o/s the other day from scratch, reformatted my hd, and
did a fresh install of winxp.  Everything seems to work fine except a
small problem with the MMC 9.16 application.
The FM application seems to work okay, but the TV application is extremely
Power supply for HD2600XT26 Nov 2007 02:35 GMT4
I have just bought myself a Gigabyte HD 2600 XT video card (with 256MB
of GDDR4 memory).  i primarily wanted to use it for a home theatre
system that is housed in an aspire cube case.  The case has a 420watt
psu.  On the 2600XT's box it says you need a 550 watt power supply for

7.11 drivers still haven't fixed problem25 Nov 2007 22:34 GMT5
I've got an AGP Radeon X1600 Pro in one of my computers.  The box is running
Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit.
The last driver version that actually worked with this set-up was version
7.7.
Replacement Video Card24 Nov 2007 15:20 GMT7
My son has a Radeon 9800 Pro (AGP) in his 3GHz PC. He wants a new
computer and video card. The computer is easy, but what's the next
logical step for a video card? I'm not familiar ATI's model numbers.
Is PCI-e a big improvement over AGP?
Recommendation Please24 Nov 2007 01:09 GMT4
I just upgraded my system to a Intel MB with a 2 core quad, 4 gig ram, vista
ultimate and I have my old ATI X800 and HDTV Wonder.
I like to upgrade the video card, ATI X800 to something better. I have the
HP W2207 monitor and will have a second one shortly. I mainly use it for HD
AIW card video conversaion question23 Nov 2007 02:34 GMT3
After I capture TV into .vcr format along with closed-caption,
how can I convert the video to another Windows friendly format,
eg. avi or mpeg or something else, so that the closed-caption
stays in the converted video?  If you have done this, some detail

I just upgraded my system to a Intel MB with a 2 core quad, 4 gig ram, vista

TV Wonder 65022 Nov 2007 17:13 GMT3
So, has anyone tried out the new 600 or 650 TV Wonders?  I'm
considering retiring my old USB 2.0 tuner to try out HD.  Any advice
on alternate software is welcome, too.
