Ok guys currently have a ATI 9600 video card and looking at upgrading to a new one, AGP only. have been looking at both Nvidia and ATI cards and not sure could someone give me a little advise please. Only have about £80 UK pounds and need something that doesn't have problems ...

My system has been unstable the last couple of weeks. There were lockups and spontaneous reboots when doing a variety of things - playing videos on youtube (with both Firefox and IE), scanning for viruses (NOD32), imagining my hard drive (Acronis True Image) and others.

I have an ATI 9800 AIW Card that I am trying to make work just as a video card in Vista. I have installed the latest drivers every time that ATI publishes a new one but Vista never recognizes the card. Is there a secret to getting the card detected by Vista?

I have an AIW 2006 PCIe card and the install for the video driver is corrupted. The ATI remove utility fails and the uninstall of the Catalyst driver says the install is corrupted. What is the best way to nuke the driver so I can do a clean install?

My current 7900GT seems to be failing (causing intermittant lockups/corrupt textures/blue screens, etc). So I need something I can use as a stopgap until the 9 series appears. I dont mind what make the GPU is but its got to perform atleast as well

I've just rebuilt the system and with a 9800 AIW and the latest Catalyst drivers, they won't see primary monitor as the Samsung DLP (which it did on the old system). It sees it as a regular monitor. How do I force it to detect it?
