Currently, I have a 3GIG system that I put together 1.5 years ago.  I
have a ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128 AGP card, but it's failing (tried it in
two computers and fuzzy lines start to appear on the model from time
to time).

For several weeks now I get this message on boot "You do not have permission
to change CCC settings" or something like that. I do not always get it. That
is sometimes I don't get it. I have tried reinstalls of various version of
ATI software, which it used to correct the problem, ...

I am running a Sapphire 1650 pro card (256mb) and am getting bleeding on the
fonts on my Viewsonic VA902B monitor. Would it be the monitor that has the
problem or could it be the video card? The fonts appear to have a red blur
between letters, but not everywhere, just in the few ...

I just got a new Thermaltake Toughpower 750W power supply.
When I have 8pin + 6pin power connection, system reboots unexpectedly after
playing for about 30 min.

I have a Sapphire X1950XT equipped with a Zalman VF-900 cooler. I was
playing Lost Planet and about 10 minutes later CCC kicked me out of the game
because of GPU's high temp (It showed a warning). I checked the temp with
ATI tools and the GPU temp was about 95C.

I'm using a Sapphire x1300 with a CRT at 1280x960 @ 85Htz mostly for 2D graphic
work (Photoshop) and don't use any games. Is there any reason that I need to
install the Catalyst Control Center? What important abilities/options will I
lose if I uninstall it and just install the basic ...

i plan to buy a new videocard - x1950pro or HD2600xt.
does HD2600xt really have better performance over X1950pro?

Just bought a new machine (base unit only) - opened the box - plugged my VGA
monitor in - 'No Signal'
Fearing this was a faulty unit & i don't want blame for twiddling i re
packed it in the box - sealed it up ready to post back tomorrow morning

The recommended method of installation involves removing all ATI software.
Does this mean you won't have the option of roll-back? How could this happen
if you've deleted the original drivers?

I have a Radeon 9600 series card, and the Device Manager reports driver
version as 6.14.10.6505.   I note that catalyst 7.7 drivers are out.  Would
it be advisable to upgrade to these?  The present system is stable and I
value stability most of all.

    My question is, I have a Media Center PC and its got an old
GeForce 5700 Ultra AGP card in it and a ATI Theater 650 HDTV Tuner
card. If I upgrade to say a ATI X1550 card with Avivo will it make the
HDTV playback better (better picture, ect...)? Or am I just wasting
