I have a Radeon 9800 Pro and i cant seem to play DVDs on my PC.
I am certain i have been able to in the past.
I play EQ2 which has all kinds of problems with ATI drivers so i have
uninstalled and installed the ATI software numerous times.

The 3D configuration for RADEON used to let you configure 3D settings for
DirectX and OpenGL separately.   Now in Catalyst there is only a section
named "3D".    Do the settings in this section apply to both technologies?
Is there a way to tweak OpenGL separately?

I must switch to 2^8 colors.
It used to be available within control panel and ati tray.
Now 16 or 32 bpp only.

Ok, another issue. When I watch TV, I get a great deal of background sound.
Oddly, I don't seem to have to send the audio to my sound card via the line
in (like my old AIW), but the sound is unlistenable. You can hear the
correct sound in the background, but the static is far ...

can you guys verify if you have 3 instances of cli.exe running...Just
wondering. I've removed all of the program, chose svga on reboot, then
reinstalled....I've seen this on the all the new ccc drivers....Seems to be
using a lot of memory.....

I just got a new Theater Pro 650 for OTA HD recording, but am having
problems.  When I run the setup program on the included CD, it locks the
machine hard, right after the ATI logo.  Have to power off -- can't even
soft boot.
