I should know this, but I'm thoroughly confused my conflicting
explainations. I have a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 video card that came
with no dongle. The s-video out seems to have slots for seven pins. I
thought s-video cables had five. What's the deal with the extra pins?

The PC certainly has its advantages - not having to throw out

You can pick up a 9800 Pro for £85 ($140) just now and I was wondering how
this card compares (on an AGP system) with more modern cards?
Do X700/800 or nVidia 6600/6800 blow it away? Can it play modern games? And
will be able to play new games that come out in the next 12 months? ...

I went and splurged for a s-video cable.
I can see what's up on the channels via s-video and composite now. Actually I
think I always had composite.

I've a Ati 9600pro...
since this card was in my pc with Mobo Asus p4s533 all was  very fine!
Now, I put this videocard in pc of my brother and this one has ECS K7S5a with Athlon

How do you determine what games use which. How do I know I'm runnig an
opengl game or a direct3d one. Any way to know. Does it say on the box when
you buy it also?
