| Can't set lower AGP speed for ATI Radeon 9800 Pro AIW? | 01 Apr 2005 00:44 GMT | 5 |
Hello. I am trying to set lower speed for AGP for testing purposes, but it doesn't seem to work. In ATI Catalyst v5.2's driver options, I have 8X and none. I cannot pick 2X and 4X. In BIOS, I can do 8X or 4X. 8X is what it is. Windows XP wouldn't let me back in with 4X. During ...

I was experimenting to find the highest core and memory clock I could get w/my 9800 Pro and now the Counterstrike: Source VST doesn't load all the models. Instead of the spinning stained glass model of Freeman and the spinning water I get spinning, red ERRORs.

| ATI AIW X800 for PCI-E? | 31 Mar 2005 01:55 GMT | 14 |
I'm sure this question has been posted several times, but a cursory search through the newsgroup didn't yield any clues. I'm a long-time user of ATI's All-In-Wonder 8500DV and I love the card's capabilities (even though I have intermittent "freezes" with it). I have upgraded to a ...

| driver maturity = less posts | 30 Mar 2005 22:52 GMT | 12 |
I've noticed a steady decline in the frequency of posts to this NG in the past months. All other things besides driver maturity being equal, I'd have to conclude that there is a direct and inverse correlation between the frequency of "alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati" posts and ...

I am running my PC into my Panasonic PT-L500U Projector via DVI cable. I have the Catalyst CC set at 1280 x 720 but I see that I am missing part of the screen all along the bottom (Part of the start button on the taskbar). Are there any settings in CCC that can compensate for this?
