I was looking for one but have not found any :o( Which got me thinking . . . is there a technical limilation on how large the flash drive can be? Or is it more of a supply-demand cost-to-manufacture type issue? Appreciate your comments.

I recently dropped my external hard drive while it was off..... Now when I turn it on and connect it to my laptop, its sounds norma but my laptop does not recognise the drive. How can I recover all m files?

I have an older Gateway running win98 and wanted eventually to get a usb drive to save files for a new computer. I have installed a 4 port usb hub but nothing I plug into it works. It seems like the computer does not recognise it. What can I do to get it operational ?

What's with these companies when it comes to providing spec information about their USB drives? Would you believe Seagate doesn't tell you how their External USB drives are powered or what the drive data rates are? WD does tell how they are powered, but again no drive

A 4 port or more USB hub that you can connect to more than one computer so that you can share external HDDs, printers etc. that has a switch like some KVMs do? Seems like a no brainer invention to me but I can't find any such device for sale. I have a KVM that has an extra USB ...

When I start up my computer, the BIOS loads, and windows will start loading (or at least the Windows Loading screen shows up) and then I hear a loud grinding noise. I get a very rapid BSOD, and then it shuts down and starts up again in the DOS "Your computer did not shut down

This is a weird problem to do with a harddisk and its powering. Here is what has happened, and what I have done. 1. Friend brought HP PC over, not power, so replaced the 300W PSU with a 400W Enermax and now PC completes post but complains of no Hard disk

My new HP PC is just out of warranty by 2 weeks, and the hard drive crapped out :( Aside from the fact that HP won't help (neither will Hitachi) I am faced the following problem of recovering data from the drive.
