USB Flashdrive Larger than 2 Gb30 Dec 2008 21:03 GMT3
I was looking for one but have not found any :o( Which got me thinking
. . . is there a technical limilation on how large the flash drive can
be? Or is it more of a supply-demand cost-to-manufacture type issue?
Appreciate your comments.

image copying drive through USB?26 Dec 2008 03:18 GMT16
I usually transfer boot disk images using BootItNG. Those of you who
know BING, it is a utility that boots up with its own CD boot disk. This
is usually not a problem with my desktops, with plenty of drive bays and
multiple connector cables available. But now I want to transfer ...

I am aware that there has been lots of debate as to whether defragging

latest and greatest in the defrag software wars?
Thanks
WD, Seagate Lack of USB drive specs20 Dec 2008 05:39 GMT2
What's with these companies when it comes to providing spec
information about their USB drives?  Would you believe Seagate doesn't
tell you how their External USB drives are powered or what the drive
data rates are?  WD does tell how they are powered, but again no drive
Has any company invented this yet?15 Dec 2008 01:45 GMT43
A 4 port or more USB hub that you can connect to more than one computer so
that you can share external HDDs, printers etc. that has a switch like some
KVMs do? Seems like a no brainer invention to me but I can't find any such
device for sale. I have a KVM that has an extra USB ...

Is my harddrive dead??11 Dec 2008 21:56 GMT16
When I start up my computer, the BIOS loads, and windows will start loading
(or at least the Windows Loading screen shows up) and then I hear a loud

up again in the DOS "Your computer did not shut down

Very strange harddisk problem11 Dec 2008 21:24 GMT21
This is a weird problem to do with a harddisk and its powering. Here
is what has happened, and what I have done.
1. Friend brought HP PC over, not power, so replaced the 300W PSU with
a 400W Enermax and now PC completes post but complains of no Hard disk
connecting RAID HDD to several PCs through eSATA11 Dec 2008 21:01 GMT4
I've got a network 3.5 TB Lacie HDD which, in addition to a 10/10/1000
LAN port, also has 3 eSATA and 1 USB 2.0 ports. I am wondering if,
instead of going through a LAN and a router, I can simultaneously
connect sevaral PCs directly to the HDD through the eSATA/USB2.0, or
