Hi to everybody,
    I have a big problem with a secondary disc after an upgrade I have
rebooted the system and I don't see my secondary hard drive. All I get
is the following error in event manager:

Hi, im thinking there is not much logical difference between a SAN and
NAS in a small business environment.
For example, say i have a file server which connects to a SAN. I have a

I was using my computer (surfing the Web) and then XP told me delayed write failed. Then, I
loaded up HD Tune and SpeedFan separately to check SMART Status. They both showed a

I have a pair of IDE SG HD working fine and I have tried to install an
SG ST3400633AS Sata HD and cannot get my system to recognize this drive

I got a question about my Iomega USB disks (Silver Series). My system is
a fully updated Windows XP.

If I uncheck the XP format option for a QUICK FORMAT then the help text
suggests that XP will test the sectors:
   [Quick Format] "Specifies whether to perform a quick

I am having difficulty installing windows XP pro on my SATA hard drives
for RAID 0.  I have set my BIOS configuration correctly to enable the

Does anybody know if there are any external enclosures that support
SATA2/SATAII/SATA300 drives.  In particular, a seagate (500GB or 750GB)
SATA300 drive.  I have done extensive searching, and am unable to find
any enclosure that definitively says that it will work with SATA II

I recently moved my OS installation from a Seagate Barracuda IV 80GB
drive to a 120Gb Barracuda 7200.7 drive.  This was because the old drive
had developed bad sectors and had been in constant use for three years.

We recently upgraded from a DDS4 tape drive to an IBM VXA2 and are
having problems with the VXA2 only storing 56GB per tape. We are using
X23 tapes which are meant to store 80/160GB.
The server it is installed in runs Windows NT and BackupExec 9.0 Rev
