Hi --
I've had a look at the past 2 months of messages, but didn't find any
answers, so I'm going to ask my question here.
I want to install an additional HD on my PC, for extra storage and as

I would like to transfer some programs (MS word etc) from my T20 to my
T23. Can someone enlighten me on how this is done? I don't have a CD-R
so I can't just burn a CD of what I want. Some way to connect the two
Tpads together ???? T20 has XP and T23 has @200Pro.

I have a problem with the partitions of my HDD. I was trying to merge
my partitons with Partition Magic but I
forgot that I had a hidden partiton made with Dekart Private Disk. In
the end I messed up my partiton table.

I'm trying to figure out the pros and cons for backing up to a disk
device vs. using a virtual tape library like the Clariion Disk Library.
You're backing up to disk on both of them, presumably at the same
speeds but it seems that the VTL adds a level of complexity and cost.

There are various methods of backing up via operating systems , using
"ghost software" to hdd-hdd backup or using "partition magic software".
Appreciate if you can share your experiences what are the methods that
was used and the pro and cons !

I have two hard drives in my system, one for programs and one for data.
Last month the data drive crashed -- I was working along when suddenly
all its files abruptly disappeared, though the folders remained intact.
I no sooner finished recovering all the data from that HDD -- just
