I have several 120 GB h/d's that are single-partitioned to FAT32 and are used extensively as USB2 drives attached to a Windows 98SE system. ONE of these drives is not recognzied by my Win2000 system (data management reports that the drive is not a valid Windows format????).

I'll adding new disk from the EMC SAN and I am wondering if it's possible to able to mount the new disk without rebooting. So far fdisk or sfdisk will not see the newly presented disk with a reboot.

Currently have a 2810SA with 4 250G hard drives in a Raid 5 configuration. I've realized that if I continue to put 250G drives up to the maximum of 8, I will not be able to take advantage of full 2T drive limit of XP. I would like to upgrade the drives to 300G

I have a HD that came out of my old system (Maxtor Diamond). I want to look into it and transfer some of the data on that disc to my IBM Thinkpad. Is there a way I can hook it up (in an external HD box) and get that data out? Any other advice would help.

I have a USB external hard drive for back up. It was formatted by a Linux server and now when I plug it into my USB on my Windows XP PC, it wont see the drive. It recoginzes there is a HD there, but it doesnt show up at all as external storage in the drive list.
