I'm looking for a CD label-making program that can do the following 4
tasks:
1.) Allow insertion of background image into the template and allows one
to resize and position the label over the CD/DVD template with WYSIWYG

Hi there,
I have an Acer Aspire 1680 laptop. I have had it for three or so yers
now. It has a CD/DVD rom, write and read on both.
The problem I have is, when I try to burn any file, it runs for a few

A buddy of mine showed me a CD today from his HP computer that he
actually burned the label into. That is, he loaded the CD upside down
in the burner, ran some HP supplied software, and it burned a "label"
right into an off white layer on the top of the CD. Then he flipped it

Need to write CD-R as well as DVD, with sometimes no-make media.
And maybe copy some games.

In Windows Media Player, now when playing a video, I see an annoying
on screen display of video statistics, showing Current Frame, CPU
Load, Input Size and Output size. Is there a way to turn this off?

Does a cdr have an area which states true or false whether the disc is
blank?  Or how exactly is the cdr determined as blank?  The drive
can't search the whole disc for a TOC.
