I know that burning in ISO9660 requires that the computer be otherwise uninterrupted by the operation or presence of other apps (e.g. by virus checkers, and even a command-line window, which I found out about). What about

I was using DirectCD fine for one day (first time using it). Now the CD (ejected using "leaving as is") is not being seen by the Windows file explorer nor by the command line window, even after refreshing the view with F5 in the windows file explorer. I tried this first

My DVD writer won't burn/overburn 90 min cds It will burn if the size is 81/82 mins, but any more and it rejects the cd I can burn 90 & 99 min cds in my cd writer.

Now i have some more weird data: DVD was recorded in one shot - no multisession with Nero 7. Now, on my PC isobuster sees only one session and DVD works OK. On my niece's two PC's - on both DVD comes out as blank. When starting Nero Info tool, on both says

I currently have an old 350MHz AMD PC running Win98SE (Yes I know it is time for an upgrade - which I will be doing in the near future). The CDRW optical drive I have currently has just failed totally and will not read anything.

I have a Plextor 740A burner and Nero 5.5.10.56. I want to burn something at 4x but Nero only shows options from 48x - 12x. I tried to use DriveSpeed to manually add slower speeds but this did not work? Nero does recognize the drive, and I have no problems
