Installed Roxio DVD Easy Media Creator 7 on both my laptop and Desktop
and it's totally made creating CD's a horror.  I can't believe the
irresponsibility of software makers who create 333 megabyte programs
that destroy the operatability of other software.

I've taken out XP service pack 2 and also have reinstalled my Installer
Service.
I can not take out Easy CD Creator Seven probably because some data
is not present.

Is it possible to copy a music CD's files to a Memory Stick?
If I Explore the CD I see the files are in .cda format and not .wav.
I don't use Nero, and don't want to purchase it just for this experiment.

Been browsing the groups & blogs re Sony's nefarious doings.  Amazing that
people can still be "shocked" by this considering the many misdeeds uncovered so

I got cool deals on Office depot ones (4x) but after trying the 8x from that
same brand (disaster) i'm worried about them. I want to archive stuff and I

Is there a rule of thumb as to how long a music CD-R might last that
hasn't been subjected to any kind of "abuse" (scratches,extreme temps,

Got a Philips DVDR16LS. It used to print lightscribe OK but now comes up
with Communication Error. Philips and Nero have been unable to fix it so
far.

the drop down box. That's my only choice and I have to cd-rw burners on
this pc I've look hard and deep and can't find the path to change this.

I have a downloaded trial version software, good for 30~60 days.
It was a zip file. Afer I unzipped it to local HD, it is almost 1GB.
I have made an ISO file of it, but when I use Nero to burn that ISO
file, I can only make this software program as a DVD rom because it is
