I did a test on a VOB that I ripped this week from a DVD I'd bought.
After I changed the extension to MPG, ran it through G-Spot and G-Spot
says that this file is MPEG2.  I looked up what MPEG2 is, and the net
says that SVCD is _also_ MPEG2

I am trying to put together a CD-R that is usable on the PC and Mac.
Basically what will be on the CD is some image files (.tif's), some video
files (.avi), some .PDF files, etc. No executable programs.

Will saving wavefiles as 24bit audio as opposed to 16 bit audio make a
noticeable difference in sound quality?  Also are most CD burning program
compatible with 24 bit audio, i.e. Roxio Media Creator 7.5, Nero 6.6, Sonic

I can't burn the MP3 Disc. This problem has happened like previous
times, where it says "cannot write to compilation to selected recorders
simutaneosuly", and then I have to copy all the songs on to the
desktop, format the cd, and burn it all again. This is an incovenience.

I bought my dad an MP3 boombox. That is a stand-alone CD-player, that
can play MP3 CDs. (The exact model is RCA RCD160.) And I'm gonna give
him next week, but I also want to bring a few CDs with MP3 files.
The problem is I don't know what options to choose in Nero Burning ROM,

When I try to add MP3 Files to a MP3 disc on Nero Express 6m in the
project window, it comes up with "No Compatible File Found". It didn't
