Recently I have problem with burning CD at higher speed.
My CD writer is 48X. When I try to burn at even 40X, buffer goes to 100% and
burning stops at 5-7%. I wait 2-3 minutes and nothing happens. I even have
to turn of comp because writer is not responding.

I am having hard time using XP's burn feature.
It seems to say in the XP documentation that all you do is to enable it by
putting the check mark in the square in properties in Windows Explorer which
I have done and then you drag and drop or highlight and go to FILE COPY and

Problem playing CD-Rs in some CD players25 May 2005 18:14 GMT4
For some reason I cannot play CD-Rs burned on my CD burner in our DVD
player which supports multiple formats (DVD, VCD, Audio CD, MP3, etc).
The CDs will play in our very basic portable stereo but the DVD player

I have received a CD which I need to rename as it has same volume number as
another I have and cannot be cataloged as a result. I  transfer files onto

rejects file names as too long, beyond the 64 char rule. How ...

c1 errors and 'soft errors' question24 May 2005 16:28 GMT4
in my nero cdspeed tool, an audio cd check reveals about 1500 c1 errors
and 0 c2 errors.
I downloaded and tried cd/dvd Diagnostic by infinidyne and its analysis
says there are 200,000 plus 'soft errors' and no hard errors.
DVD burner, Master or Slave?24 May 2005 06:22 GMT9
I have my DVD burner set as master and DVD reader as slave. Any problems
with swapping this around as I'd prefer to boot from the reader drive and
then I'd have access to a burner in BartPE. I assume you can't boot from a
slave CD drive.
