Adding a folder or a file:
I'm able to add a file using Nero Express 6.0 by copying a folder from My
Documents onto the desktop and then dragging the folder onto the interface
of Nero and then clicking to burn.

Friends PC has had a CD writer installed by a pc shop. It came with Nero
Express 5.5.9.24
I wrote a CD for him ok, selecting enable multisession tickbox.  Then wrote
more data later on to it , but then could only see the second write

I burned four CD-RWs last week.  I cannot access two of them.
The two I cannot access had a 400MB single PGP encrypted archive on
each of them.
The two I could access had multiple PGP encrypted archives on them

I bought a player yesterday (Panasonic SL-MP77) because it said it
plays CD-RW's and MP3's, but it will not recognize a packet written
CD-RW! So what good is it for CD-RW's?
Does anyone know of a reliable portable that will play CD-RW's using

I'll be danged if I can find where to pick the preferred method of
burning. This program has one of the worst "help" sections I've ever
seen.

I recently purchased a Plextor Internal ATAPI (E-IDE) CD-R/RW 52x 24x 52x
Within the box was a CD with:
PlexTools
Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 Basic for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

Can someone point me to an address on the internet where I can learn about
image files and iso files and bin and cue files.?

I have a Mixed-Mode CD, that I would like to make a CD-Plus (or Enhanced)
instead. I also need to play it via a DOS command (forget AutoPlay).
What I have found was a small program called WinOpen (winopen /op:play d:).
However, I could only get it to work on a Mixed-Mode CD, and not ...

The good news is that this new version is finally released officially.
The bad news is that it may not recognize previous serial numbers.  A
friend just notified me that his doesn't work.

If you have successfully used a PATA (regular IDE) cd/dvd writer with a
SATA PCI controller and converter, please tell me which controller and

Can someone tell me where I can find out how to create boot images for
Nero v6.0.0.11.  I'm referring to the DosBootimage.ima that is
supplied by Nero.  How would I create a similar image file from a
different operating system boot disk.

my cdr/w has stopped working - it burns and stops at n% or just hangs at the
finalising stage using Nero6. Using xp cdr/w software it hangs too.
Is there anything obvious I should investigate? Have thought about getting a
new one to out in but think that this is a software prob ...

I've recently been recording streaming media to my desktop via the use of
CD-Wave.    I know that the audio is streamed at only 128 kbps, therefore is
it worth saving the wavefile at a rate above 128kbps?   Would I gain
anything by saving it at 320kbps?

I have a .rar file (free download music file) that I want to burn to cdr.
None of my programs will open it.  Any suggestions on freeware sources that
will at least let me listen to it?
