When I copy audio CD's, sometimes the copy contains a brief loud shrieky
noise in between the tracks. My burn program is Prassi PrimoCD Plus 2.0. My
OS is WIN98.
How can I avoid having the noises in between the tracks?

I'm using Nero6 and an LG GSA 4082B on DVD+RW 4x media.  If I choose the
option to verify the files after they've been burned, the verify stage is
like twice as long as the time to do the burning.  Has anyone got an idea
what could be causing this?  Thanks.

I've recorded an old tape onto CD via an audio CD recorder and now
want to burn it via Nero. I've saved it on my hard drive but I want to
get rid of the hiss from the tape (Dolby style maybe), but can't find
anything to do it with.

I have some audio files in WAV format that I am trying to burn to a
CD.  I tried Nero 5.5 and the latest Nero 6, and they both tell me the
file type is unsupported.
These files play fine in Windows Media Player.

If I install a DVD ROM drive and a DVD rewriter, which should be set as the
slave and which the master?  Thanks.

Is there a good program to check for bad sectors on a CD? I know that Nero
burning software offers a "verify data" option during CD writing, but I
can't access that function for other burned CDs.

I got Roxio's EZ CD Creator 5 Basic with my Plextor CD writer.  I tried
to create a multi-session cd-r (not cd-rw).  Somehow, writing the last
session made first session disappear.  I know it must still be on the
disc as it is a write-once only disc.

I made backup copies of my MP3 playlists using EZCD (or whatever I had

After burn 14 multisessions, i cannot access the past 13 multisessions.
but i see 14 tracks in Nero disc info.
how can i retrieve the past data in all tracks.

instead of a DVD/RW one. My W2K system was stable and bug free. I had

Some time ago I asked for some help on how to burn a 90 minute disc. I was
able to burn the disc, but ever since I created that disc, I am stuck with
the following error: could not perform fixation. The writer is a Plextor
CD-R, PX-320a, and I am using Nero Burning Rom (5.5.10.56).

Can someone suggest a good CD labeler SW?
I would prefer SW that can suport many different
brands of CD labels.

Roxio 7 does not work, does anyone know why or how to make it work.
Roxio says "too bad, we don't support servers" Huh? Why?
