IDE Cable Oddities & CDROM29 Feb 2004 19:59 GMT6
Been having lots of buffer underrun problems. Both my cd reader and cd
writer are on the same IDE channel. So I decided to move my cd reader
to the same channel as the hard drive so the cd writer would be on its
own IDE channel.

For the difference in time to make a S-VCD, I didn't notice much improvement.

I purchased a Dell 4600i that came with one CD-R drive and one CD-RW drive.

read a CD disk automatically, or manually (never has) when I insert a CD

Pioneer A05 mp3/cue27 Feb 2004 07:47 GMT4
I have many mp3s that have been ripped from the cd and are in one mp3 file
with a cue file. It's burnt by opening the burning program (i.e. cdrwin),
and selecting the .cue file. It then finds the associated mp3 and burns it
with the correct track times inserted according to the cue.
