I was given a Brother DCP-1000 that I am having trouble with.
Seems most printed pages have black what I'll call smudges on them.
Something like would be caused by too much contrast or darkness.
I can't adjust to improve it, although I have tried.

I recently had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall all of m

This problem started a few months ago as just the occasional magenta splotch every 10
