Oki C3300 colour laser printer suddenly started making a horrible loud
grinding noise when it starts up. I've managed to ascertain it's the
magenta roller/cartridge assembly. The grinding sound stops when I take
the whole magenta lump out. Do these assemblies sieze up? If so are ...

I notice that color laser printers are finally getting smaller and
cheaper. I've even seen ones with a scanner. I haven't seen any that
also can duplex.
Does anyone make a Compact duplex color laser printer/scanner?

Anyone know where I can get the  Epson Smart Panel Software Version 2.5 for
the Epson perfection 1660? I bought a Used scanner and I didnt come with the
software. Thanks for any assistance.

Printer works well but has a "slight" faded vertical band about 3 inches
from the left margin, about 1/4 inches wide.  New cartridge.
Doing a "half self test" I can see slight fadeing on the drum at that
location.

I need to replace my current all in one printer a HP 6110. Computer is using
Windows XP, Pentium 4 #GHZ. I like the HP 6480 with single ink cartridges.
The HP 6500 has multi ink cartridges and a separate print head. I have read
the reviews but have not seen one in action.

I am thinking of buying an empty no 31.
Bearing in mind that the cartridge is empty, would I have any trouble
in re-activating it?
What is the best method of storing an empty cartridge untill I need

I'm probably going to junk my vritually new  HP laser printer as described in my
previous posting.   The black cartridge is at 10% and the colour cartridges at 34% so
to heck with spending the money to repair it.
