I have a Hewlett Packard MFP C5280 currently connected to an Ubuntu
Linux box.
The printer is available to two other XP laptops using Samba and CUPS.
I've managed limited network scanner success using Linux's SANE server

OK, I'm trying to print a "form" off the internet, unfortunately when
I print each page automatically has the web page and address on the
top (header) and the page x of x and date time on the bottom (footer).
How do I get rid of these?

Any recommendations?

Looking for a reliable printer. No bells and whistles. Pls state the
model number too.

I have purchased two different Epson printers (most recent a R340).
Both of them produced excellent results until they experienced nozzle
plugging/failure in about 18/months. I have a color laser and a
monochrome laser that I use for the majority of my printing so the ink

I bought a used DP-301P+ print server off of eBay and I'm having
trouble talking to it at all.  (It's a little box with a parallel port
on one end - connects directly to the printer - and an RJ-45 on the
other end and gets directly connected to the router.)

My family uses Canon MP530 printer for general printing job.
Any concerns using non-OEM cartridges? And where I can order
some less expensive compatible ink cartridges? Any suggestions?

Friends, I am in need of Software Installing CD for Canon Canoscan
Lide 20 Scanner. I have the scanner but lack of software I can't use
it. I searched it on canon website but I can't get it. Please, if
anybody have it can you give it to me.

I'm looking to buy a new all-in-one (print,copy,scan)printer and was
hoping for some advice. I've been offered a Lexmark 4550 but the reviews
aren't great and I'm a uni student who needs to do a lot of printing!
These are the main things I care about:

I have both these printers and using OEM ink I can find no difference in the
print quality between these machines. If anything the IP4000 seems to print
slightly better in my view but the difference is too close to call.
Leaving aside printing speeds I'm beginning to wonder if ...

Can you use a photo paper like Epson Photo Paper Glossy through a
laser printer?  If so, how good would the results be for B&W photos?
Just wondering.

I have been using an HP Deskjet 6122 printer for the last four years with
great
satisfaction. I especially liked the fact that it uses the large (42ml) and
cheap HP 45A cartridge. I believe this printer is similar to the HP DJ970c.

I had the information for soft and hard resetting the HP 6980 printer but
can't find it now.  Could someone lead me to that information?

I have a Brother 4750e. When making a copy the left side of the copy
is fine but the right side of the copy is all black.
I have cleaned the white strip and the scanner window to no avail.
Any suggestions
