I have one basic question. My printer seems to works quite well except
sometimes (15% of the time...).
When I print a text base paper, most of the time, it works quite well,
but sometimes, it just print with strange characters or mix characters

Saving Conserving Canon S900 S9000 Inkjet Printer Ink29 Dec 2007 22:44 GMT2
I have had a Canon S900 for about three years and recently have
started using a lot of ink. I found that when I went to 100s pages/
month the inkjet heads started clogging occasionally and clearing with
a can of compressed air works.

cartridge? (Are they CMY?)  Does the HP722C use black ink when
printing colors?
HP 8100 Spots29 Dec 2007 06:48 GMT4
So, I recently picked up an HP 8100 DN (as an upgrade for a slower HP
8000 DN) in exchange for a donation to a non-profit that was no longer
using it.  When I tried it out at the non-profit, it seemed to work
fine.  However, I've noticed that there are actually light spots on
please help me!!! Canon bjc 6200      ...urgent!!28 Dec 2007 23:29 GMT16
I had a Canon Bjc6200, with installed no original cartridges (compatible).
Some days ago it turned off and then it not printed anymore. So I changed
all the cartridges: for the colors I used three new "original-photo"
cartridges, and for black I used a new "compatibile" one.

I am thinking of buying  an Epson D92 printer for occasional printing.
Are there any problems with this printer?
Is it likely to be compatible with my pc and OS?

Kodak Printers??28 Dec 2007 15:27 GMT45
Anyone have any experience with recent Kodak Printers?
I have a middle-aged HP6122 DeskJet, and I'm tired of high cartridge
costs (about 3 BW & C per year). Also I see that Kodak has a "permanent"
print head. As I recall, those print heads can be mighty expensive, and
Unclogging stubborn Epson CX5200 printhead28 Dec 2007 11:30 GMT27
I have an Epson CX5200 that I let sit for a while and ended up with
what I assume to be a clogged printhead.
I disassembled it to the point of having the head actually out of the
cart carrier - i.e. the part with the circuit board on it separated

Can't Google do something to filter out these posts? It's killing this
newsgroup, just like it's killing others. First, it's blatantly OT.

hosts it.
