Does anyone know where Canon have put the serial number on the MP160
Multifunction? I've looked everywhere and can't find a trace of it on
the printer, could it be the long string of numbers and letters on the

Have access to JD 600 (p/n J3113a).
Can the 600 be used in place of the 615?

Based on my two previous posts, and the replies I received, I decided to
refill my CLI-8 cartridges, even the ink indicator would not function.  I

I have the Epson service manual (in PDF) for this printer, but it is a bit
'grey' as to where the ink pads are that need to be cleaned.
This printer has had the counter reset a few times and is now starting to

I purchased a Canon printer from Costco.  After it ran out of ink, I
purchased a refill ink kit from hobbicolors.com.  The prints first
come out streaky, so I ran the cleaning mode.  It didn't help.  I kept
on running it for hours.  Then the stupid ink from hobbicolors.com

FACT:  When you read a magazine such as Consumer Report, they always
talk negative about after-market (non-OEM) refill ink companies.  PC
Review stated , "if you frequently print photographs, you should steer
