I have an HP printer, probably bought in 2001 or so.  I think it's a
940c.  It's been a nice printer, but I am about to need to replace
both the black and the tricolor cartridges and realize I could
probably get a new printer for just a bit more than those cartridges

I have been using an HP 2110xi all-in-one printer for at least six
years.  I am getting an error message, "Remove and check black
cartridge."  I have done the following:  1.  I removed & checked the
cartridge (of course)--there seemed to be no problem.  2. I cleaned

A pal has just bought a new computer. On his old one he had a parallel port
(LPT1) to connect his Samsung printer to. His new computer has only USB
ports.
How do you connect the Samsung to the new computer?

this printer stopped to print at once, because cartridges were almost empty
I bought all 4 and put in the head. Then I try to print again and sheets
come out white. I try to do head cleaning procedure but without success.
Should I buy a new printing head? Please help. Tx

I just bought a Compaq Presario AMD Turion 64x notebook. It came along
with a pre-loaded Vista Home Basic. Though I have a 1 GB RAM, the
system seems to be running slow. The windows media player is installed
successfully but there is no sound output when I play files from the

Xerox Support Center but when I try to print via network the Workcenter
print many fault pages... There are new setting for TCP/IP port?

Samsung ML-2250/2251N because of faulty power supply the fuser is melted.
The heat and pressure roller are melted so the whole fuser and supply bord
must be replaced. Does anyone know what parts on power suppy bord are faulty
so they can be replaced not the whole board.

I'm looking to buy a new printer.
As I don't print regularly (sometimes I don't print during a few months)
I'm wondering if it is not better to buy a laser to avoid print head
clogging.

Have decided to forgo the colour laser route for photo printing, and
go for ink jet instead .
Both these printers have had good reviews, and both can print direct

This is a link to a short article with Henry Wilhelm.  The tests were
obviously sponsored by Epson, so you can take them at whatever value you
wish.  I would tend to think they are accurate within the context of the
inks which were selected.
