| Why | 31 Mar 2007 14:47 GMT | 17 |
I wonder why there have been so many posts about problems with HP printers? Epson seems to hold down second place. It seems that Canon has the fewest problem posts except for refill problems which seem to captivate all brands.

My Epson SP1280 and my Epson SP900 recently began behaving badly. For a couple of years, I've been using G&G cartridges. No problems. Love 'em. Perfect prints. Few clogs. Epson driver would nag about non-OEM only prior to the first print after changing a cartridge. I could ...

I have a very tempermental HP 5500dn printer. If a graphic confuses it, it stops printing all together. When this happens, I have to clear every print job and turn it off for an hour or so until it gets happy again, then it prints fine till the next time.

| Epson chips | 28 Mar 2007 07:45 GMT | 9 |
The answer to this may be obvious but I can't see it!! Conventional wisdom states that the Epson Ink Monitor works by counting the number of times it spits ink at the paper and calculates the amount of ink left in the cartridge. I have never seen this challenged on this
