Sorry to raise this again.... ;-) I've read up a lot of stuff on the comparison of the Epson R1800 and R2400, but although I understand the way these printers are optimised what I can't quite get a feel for is how different (or similar) they are

Can anyone recommend a combination inkjet printer/copier or multifunction device that has a feature that enables one to enlarge and/or reduce copies of an original? Should also be able to handle placing an open book on it to copy pages.

I know I can get an adaptor to plug into a USB printer to give it bluetooth. But is there anything I can plug in to give it ethernet (either wired or wireless would do). (It's sometimes not going to be near a connected PC, but it will be within range of the house router).

I have an HP d136 All-in-One printer and am using it with XP Pro. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is installed and has been working fine; however, I have never used it with a scanner. I just installed the HP d135 and it does not recognize Acrobat 7.0.

I'm having real problems printing on my lj 4000. it was purchased on eBay with a sub 10k pagecount. in very good condition. I've been working my way through all the drivers http://tinyurl.com/yfswl7 but now suspect it may be a memory problem.
