Does anyone have experience with a dye sublimation printer that prints
approximately 8½" by 11."  I have a Cannon dye sublimation printer that
prints postcard size, but would sometimes like to print larger photos with a
dye sublimation printer.

I have a Canon IP3000, about a year old. When I use photo quality paper
(satin) it deposits black in at the edges of the paper (as much on the side
of the paper as on the face), one bit either side, about half an inch  along

I have a Canon Pixma ip4000 photo printer.
The cartridges haave always included:
BCI-6M  (magenta) amd
BCI-6C (Cyan)

I need to clean my ink pad. Could someone give me some tips on how
to pull my pixma 4000 to pieces; such as where to start?

this printer was on a novell network connected to the server.
everything was fine.
novell is gone and windows 2003 server is installed.
workstation inherited the printer and is local to lpt1

Does anyone know how I can print black/white PDF documents in colour.
I rarely use my colour ink, and I want to finish it off fast.
A good way would be to trick the printer into thinking black => blue or
black => red.

I have to run the clean program everyday on Cannon 4000. in order for
it to print without streaks. I soaked the head in hot water and then
in cleaning solution overnight without any results.  Any suggestions?
