I've been using Canon with WeInk CIS kits for the last several years. It's my understanding now that all new Canon machines come with smart chips so you can't run a CIS kit anymore. Does this leave me with no choice but to go to Epson? I need several reliable fast units, with ...

| Brother MFC 5840 | 04 Feb 2006 03:49 GMT | 4 |
Is it really that bad at printing and scanning? I have seen several user reviews, some say it's the dog's, others say it's a dog (slow scanning, poor prints with banding, copying doesn't work with all zoom settings, etc).

| Photo Paper Compatibility | 04 Feb 2006 02:51 GMT | 10 |
I've read that photo paper should be 'matched' to the printer or, I suppose. the type of ink a printer uses. I have rather a large stock of HP Premium Gloss Photo paper and presently use a HP930c printer. I am thinking of buying a new printer and note that the Canon series

| How to kill a print job on HP 6l Laserprinter? | 03 Feb 2006 22:04 GMT | 6 |
Since I have XP instead of W98 I have a problem with terminating printing if the print job is past the queue and in the printer memory. The W98 HP software enabled the emptying of this memory so any printing data sent to the printer could be get rid off. The HP XP printing ...

I have had my Pixma IP4200 and I am very happy with it, its quick, can print double sided and CD's/DVD's. The pigmented ink is being used the fastest and considering its in the largest tank, I assume its for standard black printing, likewise the

| HP LJ1000 | 03 Feb 2006 15:25 GMT | 13 |
Recently, my printer has started printing a 'smudge' up the middle. It is faint, but is unacceptable for professional use documents. Have tried a cleaning swab, but no go. Not an ink issue as it

| Does any wireless print server work? | 03 Feb 2006 03:55 GMT | 3 |
The wireless groups don't seem to know much about this topic... Seeking wireless print servers for a Laserjet 1100 and a Canon S800, I'm finding all manufacturers I've looked at so far (Linksys, HP, Motorola, SMC, D-Link) have one or more of
