Where can I get a Dot-Matrix???31 Dec 2005 21:57 GMT12
I currently have an old 486 which I'm using to write DOS programs on.
Anyway, I need a Dot-Matrix printer so I can print out the source code
on the Z-folded paper.
Everytime I look on eBay, I see them for hundreds of pounds - but can

All,
Having recently taken delivery of a new PSC1410, I cannot wait for the OE

that I can expect to get results equal to, if not better, than with OEM
Kirkland 4X6 paper31 Dec 2005 04:23 GMT4
I know this paper has been mentioned before  but here is my take on
it.  Received a box for Christmas I set out to see what it was like.
Prior comments said the 4X6 paper wasn't as brite or as smooth as the
full size sheets.  In looking at both papers, the smaller sheets are
Anyone tried the"Epson AcuLaser CX11NF"30 Dec 2005 23:04 GMT3
Hi
I've not seen any mention here of this printer. I was interested in the
photo quality for flyers and coppy quality etc.
Maybe this printer is not aimed at consumer level; but the price seems good
Partially disassemble Color LaserJet 8500dn for moving?30 Dec 2005 19:55 GMT6
Hi. Anyone know if it's easy to partially disassemble a Color LaserJet
8500dn to make it easier to move? Can the print engine be separated
from the trays, or the engine/trays separated from the caster portion?
I've searched the user guide but haven't found anything. Is there a
Index Card Printing30 Dec 2005 17:32 GMT4
I'm looking for a decent laser printer that will handle a fair amount
of index card (3.5 x 5.0) printing.  We're currently using Dell 1500
and 5100 printers.  The problem is that they tend to jam relatively
consistently.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Canon i560 Print Cradle30 Dec 2005 01:25 GMT5
I've managed to clog my print cradle permanently I guess, by dipping it
in hot water to clear a clog.  I went to the well once too often.  It
worked many times before, but maybe ten times is the charm.
Anyone have any idea where to buy one of the things and the cost?

Having gotten fed up with HP for various reasons, and after checking the

Laserjet 4000 Fuser bushing wear out fast...29 Dec 2005 09:44 GMT7
We have a Laserjet 4000 that keeps wearing out the left bushing that
suports the axis of the roller in the fuser assembly. We have had it
replaced 3 times now and it wears out about 2 months later. I know when
its worn out because it will start bending the left hand corners of the
color balance problem with Canon BJC-600029 Dec 2005 09:40 GMT1
My old, trusty print head died on my BJC-6000 after about 3 years of
use. I ordered a new one, it came in the mail & I installed it, put the
ink tanks in & I've had a problem with excessive yellow ever since. I
don't get red, it's orange. I don't get blue, it's blue-green.  Even if
Wavy black "hairs" on page HP Laserjet III29 Dec 2005 09:36 GMT5
I have been getting these little faint black wavy lines on the page that
look like hairs.  The toner is making these hair images, but I'm not sure
where the paper is picking this up.  I cleaned the printer, but still have
these lines.  Any idea what's causing them?

Recently, the 'red light' keeps blinking and the printer won't print?
I have put in a replacement colour cartridge, this seemed to work for
a while, then it's started over again?
