The wholesale buying price for the Epson R1800 printer in Australia from
Epson Australia is $910.00 AUD plus GST 10%.
So buying it from a dealer at $1040 inc GST is looking at if the dealers

Why is the data following every Form Feed printing in print position 2

CR-LF combinations do start in print position 1.

Can anyone tell me how to disable smart chips on the HP Color Laserjet
2500 printer?  I found a web site that sells bottles of bulk toner and
they say the smart chips are "optional" but they sell them for about
$14. However, I had a cartridge that read EMPTY and filled it with

Printer That Prints Labels That Show in Black Light31 May 2005 08:06 GMT9
Does any manufacturer sell a printer that uses ink that will show up only in
black light?    We want to encode identification tag messages that can be
placed into complex products at various points.   This helps with warranty
issues when, for example, you get a product return where ...

I've used bulk inks before with some success but there were problems with fading
over time and inconsistent results.

Canon IP4000 Disc Printing Problem30 May 2005 21:11 GMT17
The quality of printing to discs used to be great, but it is now awful -

Dye vs Pigment29 May 2005 21:44 GMT22
Found this on the www.marrut.com site. Thought it might be of interest.
What I find interesting about it is the fact that this is a company that is
for the serious photograper and supplies only Lyson ink which is nearly (but
not all) pigment based.
