Brother has high speed USB and 20ppm whereas Kyocera has normal USB and only
14ppm.

Would anyone be aware of a way of countering Epson's seemingly underhanded
way of timing-out their printers?

Can anyone recommend a wide-format printer than can print on both sides of

i just purchased a epson stylus c84 printer and when it prints
the the page is slightly skewed at an angle

The black ink nozzles are clogged even after (what appears to be like) 100
cleaning cycles.  The printer has no way to clean just the black ink

Almost every time I switch on this printer, it automatically do a
printhead cleaning for about 30 sec . I wonder is there a way to
disable this auto cleaning action.

I have a HP 940C connected to a P4 WinXP box via USB.  Every so often the
computer will slow down to a crawl.  It won't crash, it just runns slooooow.
I have traced it back to a HP printer driver file ; "hpztsbq3.exe", I think
that's how it's spelled.  Anyway, opening task manager ...

I use XP and have a HP Deskjet 612C printer with parallel connection
only.  I recently purchased a parallel to usb cable and I cannot get
anything to go out to the printer.  I first installed the cable,
turned the printer on and then installed the printer driver.  No joy.

I'm trying to find a website which has info about laser/inkjet printer,
what I'm looking for is basic technology used for those printers, the
refill technology, repair/technical info, etc. Is there a website which
has those info?

I can't setup my printer because the setup screens are cutoff on the bottom and
the right side.
I've reinstalled and it makes no difference.
What could cause this. It was fine on my old computer.

I want to scan some colour craft magazines for my wife and archive
them on CD-R.  These will then be printed out as she needs them.  Does
