I use a HP 6122 printer which uses the 45A cartridge. It is not plugged into the computer powerstrip. Should I leave the printer always On or should I turn it Off at the printer when I don't use the computer? --

I just bought this 1280 printer and I'm having problems printing 4x6 images on Epson's 4x6 Premium Glossy Photo Paper (individually cut sheets). All print previews display a centered image but the printed image is not centered.
