After reading many posts here and elsewhere, I can only conclude that my
chances of
getting a reliable AND affordable printer are about the same as winning the
lottery!  I feel like a sucker in Vegas considering the clogged printheads,

Im having problems with my Lexmark Z42 again.
The color cartridge seems to go about 1/2 way through its ink, then leaks out
in quantity, blocking its jets (Im guessing).  There is a bulb of dried ink
that appears to have come out of the jet and clogged it.

Why do I get poor washed-out colours on this printer?
I am using WinXP (not SP-1) together with the 750ESC/P2 driver and the
EE05-1 Colour Profile.
There doesn't appear to be a specific driver for XP.

Anyone know where a simple instruction cartridge refill guide can be found
for this printer

I have 5 new HP Color LaserJet Cartridges. New in sealed cartons.
They5 in number. They are for HP printers- Color LaserJet 5, Color
LaserJet 5M and Color LaserJet. 1 black,(C3015A),2 Magenta (C3104A0,

Need to setup various tcpip printers of various brands in my windows
98 machie but understand that 98 does not support natively such
printing.  Anyone knows of a third party software I can use in order
to setup my tcpip printing?

The cradle stays on the left-it won't return and I can't print.  Any

I have a Xerox C55 that has now generated an U2-NVRAM error.
The knowledge base did not have a solution other than 'see authorized

The user manual does not have adequate information to repair it.
