Hi Gang!
After much fiddling around, the 'ol 486 PB tower is on the 'net.
Sure is a lot slower than a 3+GHz Whizzbang.........
It is painful to be reminded of how primitive the very early PNP BIOS' were.

Finally got ahold ( well, I don't actually have it here yet ) of a 486
Packard Bell in the "designer" Art Deco tower case I have been looking for
for many years.

I was trying to nstall a netgear card in this machine in the last few
months and then this error started showing up in the boot sequence 'IO
Device irq conflict" and then you are given the option to hit F1 to
resume. I removed the netgear card and drivers and even reloaded the
win95B op disk03 Jul 2009 15:35 GMT1
Has anyone got an extra win95B packard bell op sys disk? I would like
one for the D1000 which has usb support on the mother board.
