My striker extreme runs fine with my hd2900xt but when I install either a

I am a PC user since commodore 64 and recently purchased a Laptop with

This is a stab in the dark, but I am using Mandriva 2009 with a 1.3
ghz Fujitsu-Siemens Scenic T with D1371 Mainboard.  The only area it
falls down is playing Flashplayer stuff e.g. via YouTube.  I have the
maximum RAM installed, and anyway it's only using half that on

Has anyone got a sure way of monitoring the CPU temperature accurately.
When idle in BIOS my CPU displays as 45C but `Core Temp` shows it as 50C and
real temp as 36C.  SANDRA shows a third different temperature and a fourth
from Everest.

Since installing an Nvidia BFG 6600 video card I can no longer OC my 2.4
P4/533 CPU.
It used toOC to 3.0 Ghz and run stable, Now it will not OC at all I canset
the fsb in bios but when I rebbot it goes back to defaults, MB is a gigabyte

i got the third stick of ddr1 memory.
putting it in the system. i run a memtest.
u see the cl is 2.5 not 3 which is no the stick.
the bios is set to auto. should i change the bios to maual

If i set the RAM to run at 1066 mhz in the bios, the computer won't
boot. It defaults to 800 mhz, and when I set it back, it works fine.
The mainboard is a Gigabyte GA-M750SLI-DS4, with a Quad AMD Phenom Black
Edition 9950 2600 MHz and 8 gb of OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ2F10662G.  I know
