I posted this originally on alt.comp.hardware.overclocking.amd Since there are a number of people over here that know about CPU's they might be able to enlighten me on what is happening here. I'm not picking on AMD, I just don't have any Intel's to test it on.

I've just seemingly killed my first processor due to overclocking - something I've done to ever processor I've owned since an Intel P90! It was an Athlon XP-M 3000+. I'd wound it up to about 2400MHz (13.5 x 178), but got some errors after an hour of Prime 95, so put it back to ~

I'm looking for some suggestions on the fans i should get. I have no plans to overclock the old machine P4 3.2Ghz but would like to get one of the quieter CPU fans, plus I'm also on the look out for some 80mm case fans right now i just have stock Antec fans, I have posted in this

Hi all, I have a pair of tow Corsair modules each on with a capacitie of 2048 runing at 1066 at CL5-5-5-15 dual chanel interleave.. Now, If I run the system at a lower DDR2 frequency 837 and CL 4-4-4-14 the system is notably faster. Are ther any problem with my Asus P5Q p45
