I looked into the Bios and saw there was a multiplier - but it was
already set at 5X and doesn't go any higher - I looked around and
couldn't find anything else that had a multiplier so I can overclock.
The motherboard is a Asus M2N-E - but the bios hasn't been flashed

Socket 478 cooler help21 Jul 2008 16:48 GMT5
Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but if it's not, maybe
you can point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to replace the cooler on my old Medion P4 2.53ghz system with
a quieter one.
Feels Like A Stupid Question20 Jul 2008 21:00 GMT18
But I'm asking anyway. How are dual and quad core CPU's
on Overclocking.
And does Intel overclock better, or AMD?
My Pentium 4 went a good and easy 500MHz before I even needed
Major ISPs dropping Usenet15 Jul 2008 05:08 GMT42
Time-Warner is dropping all newsgroups.  Verizon is keeping most of
the Big-8 but is dropping the entire alt.* hierarchy, which includes this
group.
Keep this in mind for future posts, and you may wish to migrate any
8RDA+ won't POST10 Jul 2008 15:12 GMT8
I've got an 8RDA+ system that was running fine early today. (It is not
overclocked, but I'm thinking overclockers may have some insights too,
hence the cross post.)
It was left on while people left the room.  When they came back a few
low profile cpu cooler?08 Jul 2008 15:04 GMT3
What's a good CPU fan/cooler that isn't hugely tall, so it will fit in
a midsize tower case. Looks like I have about 6 inches of headroom to
put this thing in. Like to replace my stock cooler for my e8400 to try
out some overclocking. Don't want to spend an arm and a leg. So, what

OT? or OT.05 Jul 2008 00:44 GMT5
I posted this on another group, with people acting like they are so smart...
I never got an answer.
I'm going to answer my own questions though, so please give me a little
while to post a reply to my own message...
I hope this don't sound dumb03 Jul 2008 08:03 GMT7
Anyone here know where I may find a quad 604 pin Xeon board?
Because as far as I know, you only need 2 cpu's to get it working.
Then I could just get my fingers on 2 more cpu's later.
BTW 533 MHz bus. 133 FSB (Yeah, right!?) More like 132.5?
