Processor Multipliers21 Aug 2007 17:48 GMT2
I have been reading some forum posts where the poster says one
processor has an advantage over another due to a multiplier being
different, Is there somewhere that lists the various multiplier values
for both AMD and Intel processors? If anyone has a few good links that
water cooling v. fan\heatsink16 Aug 2007 05:28 GMT20
I've been thinking about getting water cooling for my AMD 4200 X2, but
have been reading reviews that say they're only getting around 3 to 6
degrees lower than with fan\heatsink. My case has 5 80mm fans and one
smaller one (50mm, I think), not counting PS/CPU fans. I live in OR

In BIOS, I have Vcore set to 'AUTO'.  CPU-Z reports the voltage as
1.225, while ASUS probe reports it at 1.54V.
Cooler Master GeminII  $20 AR at Newegg!13 Aug 2007 16:52 GMT2
Very nice deal for any 939/AM2/intel setup, if you have a roomy case:

They also sell a 2-pack of 120mm coolermaster fans designed for the geminii,
so order them also if needed.
Ping_Phil W.  Striker Extreme OC04 Aug 2007 12:31 GMT7
Finally got around to OC'ing this thing. I notice one thing right away,
and that is the cooler MB/NB temps. The board comes with a small fan for
cooling the NB HS that clips right on. It is silent so no noise problems.
The manual says you only need it for water cooling, but I ...
Q6600 - danger?04 Aug 2007 05:15 GMT2
Just some questions, might sound stupid to some of you, but:
I have a Q6600 on P5K @ 2.40 GHz. Just bought OCZ ram - PC9200, max
freq is 1150 MHz. To get them running at this speed, I had to set the
FSB to 288 (was 266)  and the mutliplier to 9 (1152 MHz). But the
