1)Support Socket462 package CPU with 200/266 MHz FSB
2)Self configuration FSB (The FSB speed is software configurable from 100MHz

Gents I am confused at looking at guides that don't exactly match up with my
setup. I have a evga 680i SLI MB, Intel e6700 Core Duo, evga 8800GTX and 2

Do these memories tend to be upward compatible? Can a DDR2-800
or DDR2-677 memory be used for a motherboard designed for
DDR2-533, such as an ASUS P5VD2-X?

The retail intel E4300 CPU comes with a heat sink with 3 strips of paste
where it contacts the processor. Would it be better if I add heat sink
compound so that the entire surface is covered with it, not just 3 strips?
Also, why does it say to mount the mobo to the case first ...

I saw on ebay somebody selling some K6 CPUs.
One caught my eye due to the price: US 239.99 !
It is a K6-3+ 550 MHz
Were these very rare or what?

Looking to upgrade on my A8n-Premium board. Prices can be pretty
close.....is there a comparison on the web?

Two questions:
1) Does low temperature improve performance with normal clocking on a
desktop with static clock?
2) Does #1 apply to notbooks where the clock changes?  Do laptop change

This is my first AMD based board. I look at the bios and I am not quite sure
the steps to overclocking an AMD board. Most Intel boardS are the speed and
a multiplier.
