I know you probably get this sort of message all the time from Newbies like me. But I want to overclock my PC to get a bit more performance. I don't want to spend any money and I don't want to destroy my PC. I thought instead of typing out lines of specification you could get them

| Why overclock? | 27 Jul 2006 03:41 GMT | 6 |
To get an $158 X2 3800 to run safely at 2.4 a Zalman 9500 cooler at $60 may be needed - total cost approx $220. If I can buy an X2 4400 with double the cache for $234 wouldn't I be further ahead? What is the max overclock on a 3800 with stock fan?
