Opteron 165 @ 1.2v31 Mar 2006 22:48 GMT1
Anyone played with overclocking at 1.2v?  I was totally SHOCKED when I
hit 2.5GHz at 1.2v, and it's stable!!  Only thing that's holding me back
now is my crappy A8R-MVP's totally unstable memory divider options...

Help! Looking for a solid AMD XP2800+ heatsink/cooling solution.31 Mar 2006 15:58 GMT3
My Athlon XP2800+ Barton CPU on average runs at 60 C, which I feel is
way to hot even though the CPU threshold is 85 C.  I would like more
room, regarding the temperature, then + 15C.  So I put in two aerocool
case fans that offer 50 cfm output and I have the stock heatsink and

Thanks..
DDR stick identification28 Mar 2006 04:00 GMT3
I have 2  256MB PC3200 DDR (184 pins) RAM modules that won't work on both of
the P4 motherboards I have. These are brand new Infineon memory modules and
both of them doesn't work, even when I put only one of them on my
motherboards, doesn't matter in which slot I plug them.

An Intel MMC-1 question27 Mar 2006 07:34 GMT5
I have an old Chembook 7000M laptop with a big 15" 1024x768 screen, so
it is worth a little effort to keep it running fast enough to be useful.
It came with an Intel Mobile Module CPU MMC-1 running at 233MHz, which I
later upgraded to 300MHz. Then, some dirt recently blocked an ...

I've overclocked my AMD XP2800 to XP3200 on my A7V8X-DELUXE. Works great but
when I run games it crashes the whole PC. I've tried to tweak the AGP
Frequency and other related things so that the video card won't be affected.
Didn't help. Runs stabile when everything is set back to ...

AMD 64 3200+ (Venice Core)21 Mar 2006 03:37 GMT6
I recently acquired an MSI K8N Neo 2 board.  As I have another couple of
PCs, I don't want to spend a fortune on a new CPU.  I am thinking of buying
an AMD 64 3200+ (Venice).   I understand that this chip is extremely
overclockable.
