when I power on my PC with a Abit IC7-max3 and a P4 3000 nw not overclocked (and standard cooler), CPU temp raise to 45-50 degree... Isn't it too high? If this is not high, what will be the temp if I will make some 3d graphics?

I'm currently running an MSI k7n2-v mb, amd 2400+, 512MB 3200 DDR. considering move to barton 2500+ and OCing a bit. What are the benenfits, challanges, negatives to going mobile 2500+ over desktop "straight" model.

well I just oced my athlon xp 2500+ Barton to 2800+ with default voltage (1.65) and its boots and runs fine, my idle temp with stock cooling is 40C cpu, 44C diode...the only problem is my generic 512 pc 2700 is holding me back anyone have ideas of out to set latency on a a7n8x ...

Hopefully this is the best news group to post this query. I have/had amd athlon 1600+ cpu, chaintech motherboard and 512mb of ram running windows xp. Friend of mine had a computer that died after a power surge and wanted to check what bits were dead by component swapping

I got a Biostar M7NCD motherboard that says it can support 400Mhz FSB. I bought a new AMD 3200 XP+, 400FSB CPU and 512MB PC3200 Memory to go with it. I wanted to run it with FSB speed of 400Mhz. The default BIOS setup is for 200Mhz FSB and the BIOS menu does not let

I'm new to A64 systems. I'm just about to put together a system using a A34 3000+ (Newcastle) CPU the stepping is CBAEC 0423SPCW. I just wondered if this is considered a good stepping and what people are getting out of them. BTW the Overclockers database is pretty poor for the A64 ...
